Series 1
In our fist series we explored some of the concepts that are the cornerstone to modern feminist thought, but still so often go unexplained. We cover: waves of feminism, intersectionality and socialism and feminism.

THEME MONTH
OWN
In November 2021 our collective gathered fine art, audio pieces, opinion articles and theory explainers all around the theme ‘own’.
MISCELLANEOUS COLLECTION
Archives
This is the collection of the work that we created before we started publishing in our ‘Series’ format.
-
Over the years we have experimented with a few different publishing formats. We’ve now settled on publishing in ‘Series,’ but you can still access our older content through the collections, Read, and Listen pages.
-
We create our content in series, with different topics in each series. For each topic, we release a theory article and a podcast episode, as well as some key dictionary definitions.
-
Theory Articles
In this section you will find all of our written content. This includes the theory pieces written for our new series as well as all of our archives of our written pieces. Under each article, you can see whether it is part of Series 1 or an archive piece.

Feminist Dictionary
There is so much jargon in feminist theory. Our feminist dictionary is a space where you can quickly look up a brief introduction to a term or topic you haven’t heard of before. Our definitions are written for us by some of our fellow feminists outside of the Grabbing Back team, so check out their takes. Each definition will also have links to any related written or audio content.
